Good morning, Pastor

 

 

This is the week that our reports need to be completed. Thursday is the day. I just looked at your progress and notice that as of Sunday evening, 58 churches have not yet started their reports. Yikes! You’re making us nervous over here on Antioch Road. Remember that with General Assembly starting in just a few days, it is absolutely essential that we help each other get the necessary data collected, organized, and reported. To remind, here are the things needing your attention:

 

Ø  Annual Pastor’s Report – DUE JUNE 15

o   The website is www.apr.nazarene.org; simply use your Nazarene Account login. There will be instructions if you have forgotten your username or password. If you have never been assigned a user name and password please contact Wayne Nelson, district secretary (wnelson@kcdistrict.org) to request your username and password. REMEMBER: All sections of your Annual Pastors Report must be marked complete before you are done!

 

Ø  Register All Assembly Delegates – DUE JUNE 15

o   DELEGATE and MEAL REGISTRATION:

Please go to www.kcdistrict.org to register your delegates for District Assembly, NMI and NYI Conventions. Click the EVENTS tab on the top bar, fill out the appropriate information and repeat for each convention (District Assembly, NMI and NYI).  You will also be able to register the number who would like to eat lunch at College Church on Wednesday, July 26 and Thursday, July 27 when you register your delegates. You may also pay for lunches for your delegates when you register or send one check to the district for the meal count.  (7640 Antioch, Overland Park, KS 66204) 

o   To register children for the Day Camp please go to www.kcnazkids.org. 

o   To register your Dodgeball teams go to www.kcdnyi.org.

 

Ø  District Assembly Reports – The following reports can be found on the district website - www.kcdistrict.org under the Pastor’s Tab then choose District Assembly Reports.

o   Church Directory Page (to be included in the District Journal) -  DUE JUNE 15

o   Memorial RollDUE JUNE 15

o   New Church SponsorshipDUE JUNE 15

 

Ø  Financial Audit – Due to the District Office by September 1, 2017.

 

Ø  Request Annual Approval of Associates in the Local Church

Each year, senior pastors must request written approval from the district superintendent to nominate each paid staff member to the church board for election.  Go to www.kcdistrict.org then choose Pastor’s then Annual Reports/Procedures then choose Approval of Associates in the Local Church.
