Since 2018, Carlos has been serving as KCD Director of Spanish School of Ministry. He assists in integrating different language cultures on the KCD. Since 2017, he has served as the coordinator for SENDAS Pastoral Theological Bachelor program for the KCD.
In 2015, Carlos began his ministry as KCD Spanish Ministry coordinator, and Spanish School of Ministry director. Among his responsibilities is to assist in planting new congregations, training new Spanish pastors and leaders, and coordinating district theological Spanish education (CEM).
For 20 years, Carlos worked in different areas of ministries: field strategy coordinator in the Southern Cone, South America Region (1995-2003), Spain District Superintendent and Mission director (2003-2008); Leadership, Literature, Evangelism, Jesus Film Regional coordinator (2008-2015), and as professor in South America, Central America, and Spain. In 2015, He retired as a career missionary from the Global Church of the Nazarene.
In 2003, Carlos received his Doctorate degree in Ministry from Nazarene Theological Seminary. In 1992, he earned his Master in Ministry degree at Point Loma Nazarene University. In 1984, he earned his BA in Theology at Seminario Biblico in Pilar, Bs.As. Argentina. In 1970, Carlos was ordained as Elder of the Church of the Nazarene.
Prior to his missionary appointment, Carlos served as pastor in Buenos Aires for more than 20 years, and on the Southwest Latin America District in Phoenix and Peoria, Arizona, for over 7 years. He planted several churches during this time.
Carlos is married to Noemi Zani and have 3 children, Adriana, Karina and Carlos and 5 grandchildren.
