Neighboring with Purpose
How do we move beyond simply welcoming people at church and begin building meaningful relationships in our communities? How can we take the relationships we’re already developing with our neighbors, coworkers, friends, and community members and create pathways for them to experience Christian community and encounter Jesus?
Join us for LDI: Leadership Development Initiative, a gathering for pastors, lay members, church leaders, board members, staff, business owners, teachers, and volunteers who want to become more intentional about reaching and discipling the people around them.
Together, we’ll explore practical ways to build authentic relationships in our communities, invite those relationships into the life of the church, and engage in meaningful faith conversations. Expanding our community is not simply about inviting more people to our worship services or activities. It means going out to meet people where they are, learning their stories, listening to their needs, sharing in their joys, and walking alongside them, building connections rooted in trust, service, and genuine love. It’s not simply about filling our churches, but about expanding the family of God through authentic, intentional, Christ-centered relationships. In this way, we move from hospitality to discipleship and from simply knowing our neighbors to intentionally loving them and sharing with them the hope of Christ.
This will be a space to learn, connect, share ideas, and discover practical ways your church can become more present and engaged in its community.

Ser vecinos con un propósito
¿Cómo pasamos de simplemente dar la bienvenida a las personas en la iglesia a comenzar a desarrollar relaciones significativas en nuestras comunidades? ¿Cómo podemos tomar las relaciones que ya estamos desarrollando con nuestros vecinos, compañeros de trabajo, amigos y miembros de la comunidad y crear caminos para que experimenten la comunidad cristiana y tengan un encuentro con Jesús?
Acompáñanos en LDI: Iniciativa de Desarrollo de Liderazgo, un encuentro para pastores, miembros laicos, líderes de la iglesia, miembros de juntas, personal de la iglesia, dueños de negocios, maestros y voluntarios que desean ser más intencionales en alcanzar y discipular a las personas que los rodean.
Juntos, exploraremos maneras prácticas de desarrollar relaciones auténticas en nuestra comunidad, invitar a esas relaciones a formar parte de la vida de la iglesia y participar en conversaciones significativas sobre la fe. Ampliar nuestra comunidad no significa solamente invitar a más personas a nuestros cultos o actividades. Significa salir al encuentro de las personas, conocer sus historias, escuchar sus necesidades, compartir sus alegrías y caminar junto a ellas, creando vínculos basados en la confianza, el servicio y el amor genuino. No se trata simplemente de llenar nuestras iglesias, sino de ampliar la familia de Dios a través de relaciones auténticas, intencionales y centradas en Cristo. Así, pasamos de la hospitalidad al discipulado y de simplemente conocer a nuestros vecinos a amarlos intencionalmente y compartir con ellos la esperanza de Cristo.
Este será un espacio para aprender, conectar, compartir ideas y descubrir maneras prácticas en las que tu iglesia puede estar más presente y comprometida con su comunidad.
